The last three logs were all posted by Hartz, the Baby Huntress. My inspiration for creating Hartz was Breaking Bones (Illuminati GM, Valkyrie Server Representative) and Aisca`, my dear guildmate and an excellent Sniper.

The use of traps in WoE is one of the oldest tricks in the book, yet not every guild can utilize it properly mostly because the traps work on both sides - even on the trapper herself. Even so, since seeding traps takes less than a second, two of the three most powerful traps (Ankle Snare and Shockwave) can be used offensively (such as while the opponent is going from point A to point B.) The third trap is the Sandman trap ~ which is very annoying since it's range is 9x9, but its is basically an AoE sleep effect. The Claymore Trap, while may look good in theory since it packs quite a punch, is not advisable in WoE since it will probably kill your guildmates. A LOT of your guildmates.

Blitz Beat 960 :( Mediocre blitz damage...

Right now, I'm considering switching the Agi Stat with the Int Stat to improve the Blitz Damage.. although my Double Strafe ASpd would suffer.. Also, I maxed the Beastbane Skill since a number of MVPs are brutes, but I didn't have enough skill points for Claymore Trap and Spring Trap (!) - do I really need those? ~_~ Suggestions?

Log 3 • OMG! OMG! It's Mom!

Guess what!? I found my mom! Woohoo!

So, here's what happened yesterday.. The war was raging at the Valfreyja Realm near the Holy City, so it was particulary noisy at the inn where I stayed. Morning Noise = Grumpy Hartz /pif. However, when I checked my letters.. I was stunned speechless when I saw the mail at the top of the pile. It was a wedding invite, forwarded to me from Teah.. and the Bride was my mom no less! OMG! 0_0; I didn't know who the guy was (my future stepdad I suppose) but I immidiately booked a trip back to Izlude on the next airship flight.

I got to prontera just in time for the ceremony, but I didn't got a chance to speak to my mom and my stepdad until after the reception. Agatha (mom) recognized me immidiately when I worked up the courage to talk to her. We hugged and kissed, the she introduced me to Isley, my stepdad. He's a fine fellow, kinda serious but quite nice... until I found out that they're both from "work". Which is kinda creepy since there's only a dozen of them in the whole midgard..

My mom's a "True" Rogue, not the ones you see stealing cookies and stuff, but one of the twelve Blacklist Hunters of the Assassin Guild. My mom was number seven (in terms of skills) when she concieved me (forgot to ask if she was promoted since), and if I'm not mistaken, my stepdad's number eight.

So, after the chit chat, I found out where my parents are staying temporarily (The neighboring island Amatsu, just a couple of boatrides from my hometown), and left the Capital to continue my journey at Rachel.

Log 2 • Rachel's Hill Wind Infestation

Hao! Hartz here! *grin*

I'm still looking for my parents.. I'm at this town called rachel, where everyone was kindof religous and stuff.. It's hot and stuffy and boring here, yet this is the nearest inn from the fields of the Hill Wind Tribes at the north, so I'd have to put up with it. ~_~

Before I got to rachel, Teresa gave me quite an inheritance ~ I have this cute little alice doll, a full set of Archer's Regalia (yum) and a lot of Stone & Fire Quivers - just the elements I need to quell this Hill Wind plague brewing above the Holy City. I got myself a good haul on my last mission, so I was able to buy an Earth Bow to complete my equipments, and a few scroll and tonics just in case.

The hill winds died after a couple of quick shots, yet the plants around them was really annoying. Changing ammo at the middle of the fight was not yet my forte, so I decided to just ignore the plants for now.

Of course, the plants gave me quite a whacking - I actually lost consciousness once.. Good things I still have these Ziegfrieds with me for a quick refuel.

It's still quite a long mission until I can be a full fledged hunter, but I ain't giving up! I'll find my parents first, then take the Hunter's Exam at Hugel.. Cheer for me ^^ Teresa'll take over tommorow since ther'll be a War of Emperium, so I guess I'll see you in a couple of posts! Ciao for now~! *wink* ^^

I am Breaking Hearts, your cute baby huntress for the day! Hehehe /pif This adventure journal will be about me *teehee* (Hartz 4 short ^^) and my fellow Valkyrians, Faint*Smile (Shield Pally, Teresa 4 short), Marjorie Joy (Caster-Brewer, Marj 4 Short) and God-Eye Galatea (Autobolter, Teah 4 short) /heh

Anyways, all four of us are from Ayothaya (we grew up with smokies and cocos) and got to Midgard through the port-town of Alberta.. I'll introduce myself and my friends in a few posts, although expect more from me (and Teresa) since we're a lot more active!
